Material for Atlassers

The following material is provided to you in hard copies after you sign up as an atlasser. You can use home printed versions of the data forms to carry in the field and record data before entering your records online. If you are planning to return those forms to the atlas office for processing, rather than enter your data online, we recommend that you use the official forms provided by the atlas. This will ensure that they can be scanned and processed efficiently. Hard copies of the official forms can be requested to the atlas office or to your regional coordinator. Please make sure to register for the Atlas if you haven't already done so.

Guides for Atlassers

Printable Atlas Data Forms

You can download a copy of the Guide for Atlassers in PDF format (updated November 2011).
The second part of the guide explains how to complete point counts (updated 23 April 2010)

Instructions for the Daily observation form are also available (new as of May 2011).

The Remote atlassing guidelines is mainly targeted at atlassing covering remote areas of the province (updated 13 December 2011)

Please ensure that you print those forms on a high quality printer if you intend to return them to the Atlas Office. Also ensure that the corners (black boxes) and the form identification number are legible on the printed copies. The breeding evidence forms are best printed on legal size (8.5" x 14") paper. When printing from Acrobat Reader, you should set Page Scaling to "None" for better results.
